“If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies”

"Butterflies are not insects. They are self propelled flowers."~~Robert A. Heinlein

We took the kids to the Butterfly Pavilion and we really had a great time. They had something for everyone. The had insects, spiders, sea creatures and of course tons of butterflies!!! Madisyn and Jacob were the only ones brave enough to hold Rosie--the tarantula. I was brave enough not to pass out!!! They had staff their talking about different insects. I learned a lot more than I really wanted to about spiders. At the end of the tour there is in an atrium with hundreds of butterflies flying around. I let Kaleb take pictures of the different butterflies and he really got a wide variety. We enjoyed this place so much that the next weekend when Justin's parents came in town we took them to enjoy it too!!!

Birthdays time's TWO!!!

We had a real great time celebrating both Kaleb's and Madisyn's birthdays! We usually celebrate them together, but this time we celebrated them on their actual days. Madisyn turned five and Grandma and Grandpa Fantauzzi arrived just in time to celebrate. We went to CasaBonita for dinner where Madisyn was the first kid to get a swing at the pinata because of her birthday. We came home and had a beautiful Princess birthday cake! She opened her presents and was thrilled to get a big girl bike!!!

Kaleb turned 14 just 6 days later. We celebrated his birthday at Amazing Jake's(Huge indoor pizza buffet with a roller coaster, go-karts, and some other rides) and Grandma and Grandpa were still here to enjoy it all with us!!! We had cake and opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa when we came home. He received his birthday gift from us and Grandma and Grandpa Cox a little earlier in the month, a new cell phone with a keyboard.

We really had a good week celebrating each of them and their special place in our family!!! WE LOVE YOU MADISYN AND KALEB!!!
